The cruxification of Jesus Christ

Bible quote:

God blotted out the sun as if to let us know how black the deed which was being done, and out of that blackness Jesus cried, "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken me?". His final words expressed his complete surrender to the will of God as He said, "It is finished; Father into Thy hands I commend my spirit". He then bowed His head and died.

Even the earth could not accept the death of its Creator and Master without showing grief. There was a great earthquake which shook the countryside and made all people afraid. The only fear which we need to have, however, is that of refusing the love He showed in dying for us. The theme of our lives ought to be, "I'll live for Him who died for me, how happy then my soul shall be. I'll live for Him who died for me, my Saviour and my God".

Please keep praying for everyone affected by God's grief!!!

Never Can Say Goodbye...

I loved you in the spotlight,

I held your hand in the darkest days

You always let me know you loved me more-

I was ready to see your next phase.

I remember the joy and happiness:

your moves, your voice, and of course your style,

bringing the world together with just simple smile.

The love you shared was genuine, what a sight to see!

When you gave out your famous hugs, I cried thinking "I wish it was me!"

We had to say so long, it hurts with each tear I cry...

believing I will see you again will not allow me to say good-bye.

With each month, I grow stronger

knowing L.O.V.E. will see me through.

With each moment...I send L.O.V.E. to you (my MJ fam.)

8 Months...

*I usually write Michael Jackson In His Own Words but since it has been 8 months today since we lost our dear sweet angel I thought it would be nice to put some quotes up from others about Michael :) *

8 Months today....Michael we miss you so very much.....

“I can’t find the words right now to express how deeply sadden [sic] I am by Michael’s passing. We have lost a genius and a true ambassador of not only Pop music, but of all music. He has been an inspiration to multiple generations and I will always cherish the moments I shared with him on stage and all of the things I learned about music from him and the time we spent together. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones.” - Justin Timberlake

“His music is just as relevant now as it was the day they pressed record, I’m sure it will remain so for generations to come.R.I.P.Mr Jackson.” - Samantha Ronson

I’m here representing millions of fans around the world who grew up listening to Michael, being inspired and loving Michael from a distance. … Somehow when Michael Jackson sang and when he danced … we felt he was right there. … He made you believe in yourself.” — Queen Latifah.

I feel like a part of my heart is gone. I was in love with him ever since I was little. I did the moonwalk, I did it all- From a Fan in Dallas Texas via the book Michael Jackson: The World says Goodbye to the King of Pop

Just as there will never be another Fred Astaire or Chuck Berry ...there will never be anyone comparable to Michael Jackson. His talent, his wonderment and his mystery make him a legend. Stephen Spielberg

and lastly this one's from me :

Michael, I can never thank you enough for what you did for me. How you inspired me, what you taught me. I'm a better person then I could have ever been had you not been in my life. I know compassion, I know love and I know about giving and it's all because of you. You gave me the confidence to believe in myself and to keep the faith. I miss you MJ & I love you more- Kiki

The 8th month

Today we are missing Michael Jackson here for exact 8 months now...

He was also the 8th child to the Jackson family.

Researching about the symbolism of this number you'll find references like this:

* Number of the perfection, the infinity. In mathematics the symbol of the infinity is represented by a 8 laid down.

8 = perfection

8 = infinity

Those words to me are the only words that symbolize the meaning and the being of Michael Jackson in a proper way.

8 months to infinity we love and we miss the perfection of his existence in this world...

Thank you Michael for everything!

Children's Day, February 22, 2010

On April 1st, 2004 Michael Jackson was awarded with the African Ambassadors’ Spouses Association's Humanitarian Award.

To His Excellency Olhaye Oudine Roble and Mrs. Roble, Dean of the African Diplomatic Corps, thank you for your attendance and support.
I would like to thank Mrs. Zhor Jazairy, wife of His Excellency Idriss Jaziary, of Algeria, President of the African Ambassadors’ Spouses Association, and Mrs. Haoua Diatta, Chairperson of the African Ambassadors’ Spouses Association’s Gala,
and the wife of His Excellency Joseph Diatta of Niger.
Also, thank you Ambassador and Mrs. Kassahun Aleye, our hosts for the evening,
and their dedicated staff. Your Embassy is splendid.
And, I would like to thank all of the wonderful spouses of the 51 African Nations, who comprise the African Ambassadors’ Spouses Association. I am deeply humbled
and honored to be here tonight with you.
The African Ambassadors’ Spouses Association was founded 26 years ago,
with the mission to provide assistance to programs,
benefiting underprivileged children in the 51 participating countries.
They have done so much, and need all of our assistance in helping them to continue to make life better for the people in their Countries.
On June 4th, here in Washington, D.C. ... the Spouses Association will host their Gala, where the proceeds will go to provide aid to crippled children.
I will be supporting them in their effort 100%, and encourage you all to do so.Over the last several days, I have been meeting with members of Congress.
Yesterday, several Ambassadors joined us in our discussion concerning how we can all work together to combat the AIDS epidemic, poverty
and other major issues affecting our African family.
It is very important to me to help to raise awareness, and funds, for our sister continent... Africa. The statistics are staggering; there are still 9,000 people dying a day of AIDS; there are still children who are overflowing the orphanages; there are so many who are starving and dying of diseases... diseases that we just take aspirin for.
As I have said all week, many of life’s pleasures that we take advantage of: running water, electricity, paved roads, working toilets, beds and food, are mere dreams for many in Africa.
This cannot continue.
We must use whatever resources we have, to work together to help combat
all of these problems.
Several members of Congress have pledged their support in our efforts: by continuing to raise the awareness of the American people; and, to continue their fight for proper funding for programs affecting Africa. This is a good thing and we must support them.
Again, thank you, African Ambassadors’ Spouses Association, for what you are doing, I am humbled and honored by this award.
And, let me say, you have a friend in Michael Jackson."

"This cannot continue"

Growing up in Romania in the early 90's i often heard the expression "a sacrifice generation for a better future" used to explain and excuse the lack of coordinated actions towards providing a better present for a generation that was struggling with the reality of a post communism era and the aftermath, the meaning and the loss of human life in the events in December 1989.

"This cannot continue."

If we are to allow us a fighting chance in the process of improving the future we must act now for the present generation. We cannot afford any more "sacrificed generations".
We need to find solutions for now. For today's children. To take care of them now and to offer them education.
When we will stop "sacrificing" generations then we will be able to look to the future with confidence. We must not act for future generations only.
Today's children are not to be neglected.
This post is dedicated to "the lost children" of the world. Those we forgot about - today's generation.

Hope for Haiti

Hold On
Wyclef Jean ft. Mavado

From the ashes we shall rise
Young clef
To my country of Haiti

(Chorus)
Hold on, be strong
No matter what you're goin' through
You know it's gonna be okay, okay, today
Even when the earth quakes

(Wyclef):
Like I said on BET, from the hood to the projects to the mansion,
So you got no excuse
Stop blaming the recession,
Go harder for Haiti
Send a text on your phone, Y E L E, 5 0 1 5 0 1

Every block, every school, dream initiation
Say we wanna make it a better place, like Michael Jackson
We don't wanna see another life lost out there

Wish I had talked to them teenagers, with the rpg's
Goin' on ahead with the navy seals
I would've told them listen better

(Chorus)
Hold on, (there's gotta be a better way) be strong
No matter what you’re goin through
You know it's gonna be okay, okay, today, today
Even when the earth quakes

We gotta hold on, hold on, be strong, be strong
I know that you don’t think that I can read your palms
But I see the dawn, the dawn, beyond
You know I can see the sunlight

And if the rain falls down,
It ain’t nothing but a blessing today,
The sun will shine after the rain dries

(Mavado):
Whoever tells that gone, memories live on, I guess
See you at the crossroad
So many cry when we die and they wonder if we're in the sky
See you at the crossroad

I see you in my dream, that man that can't see
But don't worry, see you at the crossroad
Remember we still a team and I know you can hear me now
See you at the crossroad

(Chorus)
Hold on(there gotta be a better way), be strong
No matter what you're goin through
You know it's gonna be ok, ok, today, today
Even when the earth quakes

We gotta hold on, hold on, be strong, be strong
I know that you don't think that I can read your palms
But I see the dawn, the dawn, beyond
You know I can see the sunlight

And if the rain falls down,
It ain’t nothing but a blessing today,
The sun will shine after the rain dries

(Wyclef):
She wants to know, she wanna know how long I been playin'
As long as my mother, as long as my momma she been prayin'
She bought me a guitar, she bought me a guitar at eleven
She ain't want me be usin mac 11's

When I sing, so when I said daddy was gone 'til November
I knew, I knew that he wouldn't be back in November
Cause I could've been the one in the bank with the shank
With park with the ski mask
But my bank is the stage with my 12 gauge

(Chorus)
Hold on, (we gotta find a better way) be strong, be strong
No matter what you're goin through,
You know it's gonna be ok, ok, today, today
Even when the earth quakes

We gotta hold on, hold on, be strong, be strong
I know that you don't think that I can read your palms
But I see the dawn, the dawb, beyond
You know that I can see the sunlight

And if the rain falls down,
It ain't nothin' but a blessin' today
The sun will shine, after the rain dries

If the rain falls down,
It ain't nothin' but a blessin' today,
The sun will shine, after the rain dries, rain dries, rain dries

Happy Birthday Mr. Smokey Robinson!!!

Today we honor a great man of music, a true icon, a part of Motown and music HIStory and a great friend and supporter of Michael Jackson!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mr. Smokey Robinson!!!

Smokey Robinson turns 70 today. Unbelievable! He has blessed the world with so much soul and amazing music that this space is not enough to list his achievements as a singer and a songwriter.

So let's focus on the relationship he had with Michael Jackson...

Most of us have seen his heartfelt speech at the Memorial where he talked about 10 year old Michael singing his song "Who's Loving You" better than himself...

"I wrote that song. I thought I sang it. I wrote that song and 2 years later here comes this little kid and he’s 10 years old. [...] And I heard it. I thought to myself…now they have pulled a fast one on us because this boy cannot possibly be 10 years old. [...] I have young kids coming up to me now; when I do concerts I sing "Who's Loving You" at concerts and young kids who were at the concert come up to me and say hey you’re singing Michael Jackson’s song huh."

And nobody will ever forget his part in the Grammys Tribute to Michael Jackson where Smokey Robinson sang the "Earth Song" along with Michael and supported by Usher, Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson and Carrie Underwood. When Smokey entered the stage and started singing "I used to dream..." I felt a strong energy and the love he had for Michael over all of those years. To me it felt almost like a real duet of the two. I know Michael was smiling down that very moment!!!

Another fact of their relationship wasn't recognized by the public eye as much but deserves our attention.

Smokey Robinson recorded a fantastic interpretation of J5's "I Want You Back" for his outstanding album "Time Flies When You're Having Fun" that was released in late 2009. It was recorded before June.

So he decided to keep it on the album as a secret track because he didn't want to be accused of exploiting the death of Michael.

"It's the first record the Jackson 5 made when they came to Motown. I always loved that song and I always wanted to make an adult version. It was for Michael to hear. Then he died."

"I loved Michael very much, Michael was my brother. His death was a tremendous shock, an unbelievable thing to find out. I didn't want people to think I was exploiting the fact that he'd died so it became a hidden track."

I have so much respect for that decision but the song deserves to emerge to the light.

This is where the circle closes. Thank you Mr. Smokey Robinson. I love you.

Edit Febuary, 26 additional information:

The first record Michael Jackson purchased was 1963's MICKEY'S MONKEY by Smokey Robinson's group The Miracles.

Michael Jackson In His Own Words

"Nation to Nation all the world must come together face the problems that we see then maybe someday we can work it out" -Jam

In the end, the most important thing is to be true to yourself and those you love and work hard. Work like there's no tomorrow. Train. Strive. Really train and cultivate your talent to the highest degree. Be the best at what you do. Get to know more about your field than anybody alive. Use the tools of your trade, if it's books or a floor to dance on or a body of water to swim in. Whatever it is, it's yours. That's what I've always tried to remember.
Children show me in their playful smiles the divine in everyone. This simple goodness shines straight from their hearts and only asks to be lived.

I used to dream I used to glance beyond the stars Now I don't know where we are although I know we've drifted far What about yesterday What about the seas The heavens are falling down I can't even breathe What about the bleeding Earth Can't we feel its woundsWhat about nature's worth? It's our planet's womb.” -Earth Song

“Smooth, but not a criminal."

I am bewildered at the length to which people will go to portray me so negatively,”

Everyone who knows me will know the truth, which is that my children come first in my life and that I would never harm any child.”

Consciousness expresses itself through creation.
This world we live in is the dance of the creator.
Dancers come and go in the twinkling of an eye but the dance lives on.
On many an occasion when I'm dancing, I've felt touched by something sacred.
In those moments, I've felt my spirit soar and become one with everything that exists. I become the stars and the moon. I become the lover and the beloved.
I become the victor and the vanquished. I become the master and the slave.
I become the singer and the song. I become the knower and the known.
I keep on dancing and then, it is the eternal dance of creation.
The creator and creation merge into one wholeness of joy. -Dancing the Dream

Come, let us dance The Dance of Creation Let us celebrate The Joy of Life-Heaven is Here (From Dancing the Dream)

From Bliss I came In Bliss I am sustained To Bliss I returnIf you don't know it now
It's a shame Are you listening?- Are you Listening (from Dancing the Dream)

For me the form God takes is not the most important thing. What's most important is the essence. My songs and dances are outlines for Him to come in and fill. I hold out the form. She puts in the sweetness. -God (From Dancing the Dream)

kung hei fat choi

With all of our chinese friends we want to welcome 2010 - the Year of The Tiger.

过年好! ɡuò nián hǎo Happy New Year!

恭喜发财!ɡōnɡ xǐ fā cái We wish You Great Prosperity!

But we do know that we had him. And we are the world.

"We Had Him" - A Poem by Dr. Maya Angelou

Beloveds, now we know that we know nothing
Now that our bright and shining star can slip away from our fingertips like a puff of summer wind

Without notice, our dear love can escape our doting embrace
Sing our songs among the stars and and walk our dances across the face of the moon

In the instant we learn that Michael is gone we know nothing
No clocks can tell our time and no oceans can rush our tides
With the abrupt absence of our treasure

Though we our many, each of us is achingly alone
Piercingly alone
Only when we confess our confusion can we remember that he was a gift to us and we did have him

He came to us from the Creator, trailing creativity in abundance
Despite the anguish of life he was sheathed in mother love and family love and survived and did not more than that

He thrived with passion and compassion, humor and style
We had him
Whether we knew who he was or did not know, he was our's and we were his
We had him

Beautiful, delighting our eyes
He raked his hat slant over his brow and took a pose on his toes for all of us and we laughed and stomped our feet for him

We were enchanted with his passion because he held nothing
He gave us all he had been given

Today in Tokyo, beneath the Eiffel Tower, in Ghana's Blackstar Square, in Johannesburg, in Pittsburgh, in Birmingham, Alabama and Birmingham England, we are missing Michael Jackson

But we do know that we had him
And we are the world.

Michael Jackson In His Own Words

"You can pray to the angels and they will listen but the best way to call them, I am told, is to laugh"

"I have been the artist with the longest career, and i am so proud and honored to be chosen from heaven to be invincible"

"I believe in wishes & in person's ability to make a wish come true...I really do..."

"I want to give the world escapism through the wonder of great music & to reach the masses"

"The Earth we share is not just a rock tossed through space but a living nurturing being. She cares for us she deserves our care in return"

"I'm a visionary and a creative person. God blessed me with certain talents." "I just want to say to fans in every corner of the earth, every nationality, every race, every language: I love you from the bottom of my heart." "When I see children, I see the face of God. That`s why I love them so much. That`s what I see." "It`s a complete lie, why do people buy these papers? It`s not the truth I`m here to say. You know, don`t judge a person, do not pass judgement, unless you have talked to them one on one. I don`t care what the story is, do not judge them because it is a lie. " 'I`m just like anyone. I cut and I bleed. And I embarass easily."

Excerpt:
Michael will appear posthumously in a split-screen with sister Janet Jackson joining him.

“To have Michael’s presence singing his part is the best gift we could ever get,” Lionel said. “His original image and him seeing his part.”

Lionel called the duet with Janet “magical.”

“She’s singing with Mike,” Lionel said. “It was all put together with fabulous choreography. It’s magical.”

The request came straight from Katherine Jackson, Michael’s mother, herself, the pair told Access.

Just reading this is giving me chills... The song will be premiered tomorrow for the Olympic Games opening ceremony in Vancouver.

Let's not forget: WE ARE THE WORLD!!! For Haiti... for Africa... and for everyone in need...

"We must lend a hand to life..."

It's all about L.O.V.E.

Lies run sprints, but the truth runs marathons. The truth will win this marathon in court.
Michael Jackson

The June 13, 2005 verdict in The People of the State of California v. Michael Joseph Jackson case didn't make Michael Jackson more innocent than he was. it only meant the end of a legal battle that came to confirm what himself, his close ones and a lot of people around the world knew already.
The verdict in Dr. Conrad Murray's case, whatever that might be, won't absolve him of responsibility for his actions nor will it make him more guilty. either way he will face consequences for his choices.
He should and he will have his day in a court of law and is that court that will decide if a punishment according to the law should be imposed.
I strongly believe in God and that justice will prevail.
Other than that I choose to take the love and energy that Michael Jackson shared with the world through his work and life-long actions and build on the message that love, not just as a concept but as a course of action, can change this world for the better.

In a world filled with hate, we must still dare to hope. In a world filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort. In a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream. And in a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to believe.
Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson In His Own Words

let's forget hatred & turn to those that are suffering not just today, but everyday. join me in healing the world & making it a better place

I respect the secrets and magic of nature.

I feel compelled to do it, to give people some sense of escapism, a treat to the eye and ear. I think it’s the reason I’m here.

Together we can help to stop prejudice. We can help the world live without fear. It's our only hope; without hope, we are lost.

Love, ladies and gentlemen, is the human family’s most precious legacy, its richest bequest, its golden inheritance.

Before you know if you are black or white, before you know of what religion you are a part, you have to know that you are loved.

today of all days we focus on loving one another and giving. let's do that, not just 1 day of the year, but for 365 days.

The foundation of all human knowledge, the beginning of human consciousness, must be that each and every one of us is an object of love.

Though It's plain to me this world is heavenly, Be God's Glow-Heal the World

Opening Ceremony of "MJ Gallery" in Macau

MJ fans will remember that in an auction last November, a businessman from Hong Kong won the bid on some iconic MJ items, the most notable of which was the Rhinestone glove that Michael was wearing when he performed moonwalk for the first time at Motown 25th anniversary concert.

Now the collectibles are kept in a showroom named “MJ Gallery” at Ponte 16 Hotel in Macau. The gallery had its opening ceremony yesterday, which was also a celebration of the hotel’s 2nd anniversary of opening. The MJHKFC was invited by the hotel to join the event, witness the ceremony, and be among the first to visit the gallery. I, for one, made all the necessary arrangements to make sure I would be there! Here I’m sharing the experience with you all.

It takes approximately one hour of ferry ride to travel from HK to Macau. Members of the fan club gathered at the harbour at 2pm, and got on the turbojet which departed at 3pm. It was then that I realized how inadequately passionate I was as a fan when compared with my fellow members there. I mean, just look at them! They were wearing the t-shirt that MJ wears in beat it MV, Thriller jacket bought from the exhibition at O2 arena and other tees with MJ on them. And they somehow found lovely MJ bags to use! Like these:
When we finally landed in Macau, we took a shuttle bus to the hotel that was arranged especially for us.
Once there, anything with the MJ sign captured our attention, followed by a series of photo shooting by every single one of us!

Then we waited to get our souvenirs!!!!!
The glove also served as a ticket to the “restricted area” which was reserved for fans.

Our sweet fan club committee who had booked rooms for the night generously let us rest in their rooms while waiting for the ceremony (and concert) to start
The stage was set and things were getting ready….somewhat slowly.
Finally, when it was fully dark, the event started with a talented boy performing Dangerous!!
Followed by a Macau singing group performing Thriller
As you can see, the VIPs were not seated yet but they soon would.

Then the chairpersons of fan clubs of HK, Guangzhou, and the group “Dreamwalker”, spoke to the audience about their love for MJ. It’s Jessie on the left – one of the chairpersons of HKMJFC, and a totally wonderful lady!!!

And the drawing on the right was a tribute made by Dreamwalker members who painted the portrait with their names.
Darren Julien taped a speech for the event telling us how he wished he could be here with us witnessing the ceremony, but he had the Grammys award to attend…
After that some more important people spoke, and finally the ceremony was officially done. Look at this picture – it’s Coco Lee (singer from HK) on the far left, and it’s Shaheen Jafargholi (famous for his cover of “who's lovin' you”) on the far right. These two amazing singers were about to perform!

Coco first told us her very very lucky encounter with MJ. It was a charity concert in Korea. MJ invited her to come and perform in the concert and of course as a long-time fan she was super excited. When she met him backstage, she told him “Michael, I’m Coco, and I’m your biggest fan in the world!” and he said, “Coco, Coco, I like your name!” and she was like “OMG Michael likes my name!”

Then she started singing “Rock with you”. Wonderful cover.

This was followed by an amazing duet with Shaheen, singing “You’ve got a friend”

Shaheen then took over the stage and went on singing “Who is loving you”. No doubt he was chosen by Michael!

Some more artists performed and they were all amazing!!! For example Louis Cheung. He told us he used to imitate MJ since he was very little. He would get a partner and play magic – the magician hid him in a box, cut the box with knives, and then he came out again not only intact but as Michael Jackson! Last night he sang a super rock version of Smooth Criminal as well as Bad.
And of course a performance by one of HK’s favourite singers Khalil himself (everyone here knows he’s a big fan of MJ)
Then it was nearly 9pm – the official time when the Gallery would be open to public. It took quite a while before we could finally finish the wait in the queue and got into the Gallery. And we were going wild! Let me show you the gallery and share some of the items there...
Most of the items were genuine but some were replicas. But as a whole, the visit was totally overwhelming.
Everyone was hunting at the souvenir shop
And this is what I got for myself – the exact replica of the famous rhinestone glove (they said it’s limited to a stock of 300 only!)

And this is it for the day. We left in a rush in order to catch the ferry back to HK… :(

Although it was very exhausting for a Monday of a busy week, it’s definitely a wonderful evening. If you ever get the chance to visit, do it!!!!!! And make sure you have reserved sufficient time for the Gallery!!!

Big thanks to the fan club that brought us there; to my fiancé who took leave from work to accompany me there and share my feelings; and to everyone in the blog team – you were all there with me, and the pictures were all taken with you in my mind.

Biggest thanks going to MICHAEL JACKSON! From every corner of the world…we love you, and we miss you so much…
